The spiritual formation of each child is central to the mission of Christ Light of the Nations. As a Catholic School, Christ Light strives to enhance the spiritual life of every student through both formal religious education and by fostering a faith-filled environment. Christ Light of the Nations offers a quality academic experience within the Catholic tradition while welcoming students of all faiths.

Our curriculum creates both awareness and respect for those virtues and values that come from the Christian tradition. A core knowledge approach to learning begins with an important question: what foundational skills can we instill in students for them to serve as leaders in their own communities? The academic program answers this by identifying the critical knowledge and skills which are to be taught at each grade level. The curriculum is consistent from one classroom to the next and is spiraled from grade to grade.

Christ Light of the Nations School opened its doors in August of 2005. Christ Light and the schools it came from have a rich history in north county dating back to 1928. The school contains a science lab, a maker space, technology and computer labs along with Chromebook carts along with a full complement of traditional learning spaces. In addition, the school has facilities for music, art, resource, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, before and after care programs, a cafeteria and other extra-curricular activities.

Christ Light of the Nations is accredited by the Missouri Nonpublic School Accrediting Association and a Member of the National Federation of Nonpublic School State Accrediting Association.
